Dr Naveed Abbasi

Dr Abbasi grew up in Bradford, Yorkshire where his dad served the local community as a GP and he attended the same college his father trained at, Dow Medical College, Karachi.
He obtained a Cardiology Diploma from University of Leeds and trained in General Surgery in Bermuda and the Lake District for nine years before embarking on his General Practice training in the Mid-Trent Region (Nottinghamshire), obtaining the certificate of completion in postgraduate training in General Practice, Diploma in Sexual Health and Family Planning MRCGP.
His special interests are in Cardiology and Lifestyle Medicine.
He has a great passion for travel and cultural competency and achieves balance in work/home life through his running, having run 34 full marathons (five out of six world majors) and 25 half marathons over the years.
