Dr. Raajiv Maher

Dr Maher values continuity of care and preventative medicine, aiming to support patients in achieving long-term health and wellbeing.
He graduated from Newcastle University in 2011 and completed postgraduate rotations which included surgery, anaesthetics, medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, and ophthalmology.
He achieved Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2016 and subsequently attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has completed the Step 1 United States Medical Licensing Examination and the Surgical Skills course from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr Maher has a special interest in skin health and holds a Diploma and Master’s degree in Clinical Dermatology from Queen Mary University of London and King’s College London, respectively. He provides skin checks and offers minor surgery for skin lesions, including lumps and bumps. He additionally provides botulinum toxin (Botox) treatment for excessive underarm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis).
Dr Maher has additional training in musculoskeletal medicine and offers joint injections and prolotherapy for soft tissue conditions.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and young child, and staying active with family walks and cycling.
