Dr Trotman

Dr Trotman completed his medical training with distinction at Newcastle University in 2009, followed by junior doctor posts in Poole, New Zealand and Jersey. He later completed GP training in Plymouth in 2016 and went on to work as a salaried GP and GP Partner at a busy NHS practice for 9 years before relocating to Jersey with his wife to be closer to family.

He particularly enjoys the breadth and continuity of general practice, finding it rewarding to support patients through different stages of their lives and build long-term relationships with families. He values the opportunity to provide holistic, patient-centred care and to work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team. His clinical interests include ENT, men’s health and clinical research.

Outside of work, Dr Trotman enjoys discovering new food spots, exploring Jersey’s coastal walks, and keeping active through tennis and golf.
